Trade-In Policies

We do not pay cash for books. We only offer store credit for trade-ins.

We accept any/all books in good condition, all genres and age ranges, with the exception of visually graphic or explicit material. We reserve the right to refuse books that appear to be moldy, mildewed, water-damaged, or otherwise unsellable. Refused books will not be eligible for credit.

Beginning September 1, 2025, we will only accept FIFTEEN (15) books at a time for trade in. Anyone seeking to bring more than fifteen books in at one time must make arrangements in advance. Please fill out our Contact Us form or message us on social media for more information.

For individual books in like-new condition, our trade-in credit policy is as follows:

Books in well-loved condition will receive $1 in store credit.

Store credit is usable to pay for up to 50% of the cost of any merchandise purchase.

Homeschool Curricula Consignment

Most standalone homeschool curricula will be accepted for in exchange store credit. For complete sets (e.g. a set of Algebra teacher's book and textbook) we are happy to offer year-round homeschool curricula consignment at a 60/40 consignor/store split.
